またまた、飛び入りで東京のyuiです！
先日、石川県は金沢へ行ってきました。
金沢でアート、といえば、金沢21世紀美術館がとても有名です。
コンテンポラリーアートの美術館で、
建物そのものもSANAA（妹島和世さん・西沢立衛さん）による設計でとってもおしゃれ。
もうすでにご存知の方も多いでしょうか。

I visited Kanazawa, Ishikawa prefecture the other day.
What do you imagine to hear “art” in Kanazawa? That is a famous contemporary art museum of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. As you may know, the building of the museum itself designed by SANAA (Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa) is very stylish!
その金沢に新しい図書館がオープンしました。
その名も金沢海みらい図書館。
こちらの図書館も21世紀美術館に負けず劣らずおしゃれ！
設計したのはCoelacanth K&H（工藤和美さん・堀場弘さん）だそうです。
A new library has been launched in the cultural city, Kanazawa, whose name is Kanazawa Umimirai Library. This library is as fashionable as the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa! I’ve heard Coelacanth K&H (Kazumi Kudo and Hiroshi Horiba) designed this library.

丸いのは窓で、その数なんと約6,000個！
図書館の中は自然の光もたくさん入ってとても明るかったです。
The round-shape circles in the photo are windows, which are surprisingly as many as 6,000 windows! The inside of the library was very light with natural sunlight.
日本各地にこうしたおしゃれな建築がぽこぽこあるわけですが、
そんなおしゃれな建物を設計する建築家の祭典、
ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレ 建築展！
の帰国展が現在開催中です。
Fashionable buildings like the above-mentioned ones exist here and there across Japan. To introduce such stylish buildings, the homecoming exhibition of “12th International Architecture Exhibition, Venice Biennale” is being held.

今回の建築展の総合ディレクターは前述の金沢21世紀美術館の設計もされた妹島さん、
日本館のコミッショナーは北山恒さん、参加作家にはSANAAの西沢さんもいらっしゃいます。
General director of this exhibition is Kazuyo Sejima, a designer of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, the commissioner of Japan pavilion is Koh Kitayama, and works of Ryue Nishizawa of SANNA are being displayed.
建築に興味のある方、
建築は詳しくないけれどおしゃれなものは見てみたいわ、という方、
